Data protection

1. Collection, processing and use of personal data

We do not collect any personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is only collected if you specifically share it with us via our contact form. This data is exclusively used to respond to your query and is then deleted.

2. Use of our own cookies

When you visit certain pages, this activates a ‘session cookie’. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer at the end of your browser session. It is exclusively used to enable you to use certain applications. Most web browsers allow you to change the settings so that the browser will reject new cookies or delete old ones. You can usually find out how to do this using your browser’s ‘Help’ tab.

3. Server log files

As with any connection to a web server, the server used by our web hosting provider records and saves specific technical data. This includes your device’s IP address and operating system, the date and time of access, type of browser, the browser request and its origin (referrer). This is required for technical reasons in order to make our website available. Our web hosting provider takes technical and organisational measures to protect this data from unauthorised access and does not share it with third parties. Insofar as we do process personal data, we do so based on our interest in providing the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.

4. No Google Analytics

This website does not use Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is a web analysis service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’, i.e. text files that are saved on your computer and enable the use of the website to be analysed.
Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website on behalf of the website operator, to create reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services relating to the use of the website and the internet. The IP address provided by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
You can prevent cookies from being saved or delete cookies via your browser settings.

5. Your rights

You have the basic right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data privacy rights have been violated in any way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
